New York Repo operates on a contingency-based pricing model designed for banks, credit unions, auto dealerships, and private lenders that need clear, predictable recovery costs. Our no recovery, no fee guarantee means if we do not successfully recover the vehicle or asset, you owe nothing. There are no upfront costs and no charges for failed attempts.
Our standard towing fees are based on vehicle type. Two-wheel drive cars and trucks are billed at $350. Four-wheel drive cars and trucks carry a fee of $450 due to the additional equipment required for recovery. Fifth wheel trailers and recreational vehicles are billed at $550. Semi trucks and large construction equipment are billed at $750. If a debtor does not surrender their keys and a locksmith is required to cut a replacement key, an additional charge will apply to contact us with the year and make of the vehicle for an exact quote on key cutting before submitting your assignment.
In addition to the standard towing fee, a contingency fee applies based on the fair market value of the recovered asset and the level of effort required to close the assignment. Contingency fees generally range from ten to twenty percent of the vehicle's fair market value as determined by standard industry valuation sources. Assignments that require skip tracing, extended field work, or multiple recovery attempts may carry fees toward the higher end of that range. Simple recoveries at a confirmed last known address are typically at the lower end. We will discuss the applicable contingency fee with you when your assignment is submitted so there are no surprises.
Skip tracing services are available as a standalone service or as part of a full repossession assignment. When skip tracing is required to locate a debtor or vehicle that cannot be found at the last known address, additional fees apply based on the scope of the investigation and the databases and field work required. Following a successful recovery, the vehicle is secured at an appropriate storage facility. Ten days of complimentary storage are provided to all clients following payment of the recovery invoice in full. After that period, standard daily storage rates apply. Repossessed automobiles are billed at $30 per day. Boats, trailers, and RVs under 25 feet are billed at $40 per day. Semi trucks, boats, trailers, and RVs over 25 feet are billed at $50 per day. We will provide you with full storage details at the time of recovery notification so you can arrange pickup or auction within the complimentary period.
To submit a repossession assignment we require a copy of the vehicle title and a signed Hold Harmless Agreement. Additional documents that help us close your assignment faster include the credit application, collection notes and debtor correspondence, VIN and vehicle description, and any information you have about the debtor's current address, employer, or location of the vehicle. The more information you provide at submission, the faster we can move on your case.
Once we receive your assignment you will receive confirmation that we have it in hand. Your assigned agent will follow up directly with any questions and to provide updates as the case progresses. All communication regarding an active assignment should go through your assigned contact for that case.

We do not accept cancellations by email or voicemail alone. A closeout fee applies to assignments cancelled after work has begun on the case. We will provide you with a cancellation confirmation number once the assignment has been officially closed.
